Why is Employee Form 1095 Preparation important?
At Benefit Solutions, one of our goals is to help our customers maintain compliance with the
Affordable Care Act and avoid corporate fines and penalties. For 2018, all employers with an
average of at least 50 FTE's in 2017 will be required to complete an IRS Form 1095-C for every
employee that was full-time for any portion of the year. In some instances, these forms
must also be completed for part-timers. All of these forms must be completed and in the
mail to the employee by January 31, 2019.
